summer cocktails

Looking for easy recipes for destination inspired summer cocktails? Sure, an Aperol spritz hits different when you’re sipping it along the Amalfi Coast… but you deserve a crisp drink whether you’re seaside or backyard-side.

This summer, we’re raising a glass to global flavor—no passport required. Whether you’re
poolside, planning your next escape, or just trying to romanticize Tuesday night dinner, these summer
cocktails bring destination vibes straight to your bar cart.

So grab your favorite glass. We’re heading around the world in five sips (plus one chic mocktail!).

Pisco Sour | Cheers to Peru

A frothy, citrusy classic with Andean roots. Slightly sweet, slightly sour, totally sophisticated.

You’ll need:
● 2 oz Pisco
● 1 oz fresh lime juice
● ¾ oz simple syrup
● 1 egg white
● A few dashes of Angostura bitters
● Ice

Shake it up:
Dry shake all ingredients first (no ice) to froth the egg white. Then add ice and shake again. Strain
into a coupe and top with bitters. Sip slowly while picturing Machu Picchu in the background.

Mojito | Cheers to Cuba

Fresh, minty, and made for dancing barefoot in the kitchen to Buena Vista Social Club.

You’ll need:
● 2 oz white rum
● ½ oz lime juice
● 2 tsp sugar
● 6–8 mint leaves
● Soda water
● Ice

Make it magical:
Muddle mint + sugar in a glass. Add rum and lime juice, then ice. Top with soda water, stir gently,
and garnish with more mint.

Aperol Spritz | Cheers to Italy

The queen of patio sipping. Bitter, bubbly, and very chic.

You’ll need:
● 3 oz Prosecco
● 2 oz Aperol
● 1 oz soda water
● Ice
● Orange slice

La dolce vita:
Fill a wine glass with ice. Add Prosecco, then Aperol, then a splash of soda water. Garnish with an
orange slice. Now pretend you’re in Positano. The *perfect* summer cocktail.

Mai Tai | Cheers to French Polynesia

This one brings the tropical, toes-in-the-sand kind of vibe—with serious island energy.

You’ll need:
● 1 oz white rum
● 1 oz dark rum (float it!)
● ½ oz orange curaçao
● ½ oz orgeat syrup
● ½ oz lime juice
● Ice
● Lime wheel + mint sprig

Tiki time:
Shake all ingredients except dark rum. Pour over ice. Float the dark rum on top and garnish.
Bonus points if you drink it with a flower in your hair.

Hibiscus Lemonade | Cheers to Mexico (Mocktail
Style)

Inspired by Agua de Jamaica, this one is refreshing, floral, and totally alcohol-free (but not boring).

You’ll need:
● 1 cup dried hibiscus flowers
● 4 cups water
● ½ cup sugar
● ¼ cup lime juice
● Lime slices + mint

Here’s how:
Boil water and steep hibiscus flowers for 10–15 min. Strain, stir in sugar + lime juice, and chill.
Serve over ice with mint and lime wheels. Pairs perfectly with tacos and sunshine.
