One of my favorite parts of this Summer in the USA series has been highlighting destinations that remind us we don’t always have to travel halfway around the world to experience something extraordinary.
Jackson Hole is one of those places.

There’s a moment that happens when you’re driving through the valley. You round a bend, and suddenly the Teton Range is right in front of you. No gradual introduction. Just jagged peaks rising dramatically from the valley floor.
It’s the kind of view that makes you pause.
What I love most about Jackson Hole is that it offers something for just about every type of traveler. You can spend your mornings hiking through Grand Teton National Park, your afternoons fly fishing or floating the Snake River, and your evenings enjoying dinner with mountain views. Families can head out on wildlife safaris in search of moose, bison, bears, and elk, while couples can slow down, unplug, and simply enjoy being surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the country.
Jackson Hole has a way of reminding you just how spectacular the American West really is. If it’s been on your list, or if this is the first time you’ve considered it, I would love to help you experience it.
